At Bookbindesigns we engrave all of our Brass Type in house, our engravers have over 60 years experience of engraving type making us the perfect choice for your Brass Type needs!

Brass Type is typically used in the Printing, Bookbinding and Leathercraft industries. Our Brass Type is to be used in a hand held type holder traditionally used by Bookbinders or it can be used in a Hot Foil Stamping Machine with built in type holder or slip case.

Bookbindesigns offer a large selection of over 60 different font styles ranging from 8Pt to 48 PT. The smaller sizes are more commonly used by Bookbinders for spines and front covers of books. Our portfolio of designs comes with an ever growing collection to suit different specifications. We make our Brass Type to printers type high .9195”.
